Job Overview
We are recruiting Care Workers for our Supported Living Services in Buckinghamshire.
You will be required to support service users with Learning Disabilities and/or mental health issues to live as independently as possible in our services on a shift pattern rota basis.
Your ultimate goal is to safeguard and support the Service User whilst they are in our care, following the procedures in place to safeguard them. You will attend to any arising Service User queries, complaints, and challenges, including maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date documentation on all cases of safeguarding.
Hours of work will be allocated on a shift basis, covering day shifts, sleep-ins, waking night shifts and alternate weekend shift working

What experience and qualifications do you need:
- Relevant work experience in a support worker or care worker role is desirable as full training is provided
- A genuine passion for care
- A strong team player
- Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support when needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy
- NVQ 1/2 Health and Social Care Certificate (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not required.
